The return
When the non-figurative meets the figurative
Artist: Bengt O Björklund

That time has come when Bengt O Björklund once again presents some of what he has been doing the past few years. The development of what he calls “controlled chance” has continued in many different ways and with different medium. The non-figurative has found the figurative in an interplay that never before was a part of his work and he continues to experiment, to a certain part within the Abstract Expressionist tradition, but still in in a very unique style of his own. The meeting between the abstract and the concrete seems to be what occupies him at this time.

Water patterns and light
Artist: Jöran Modéer
Jöran Modéer continues his artistic journey with his meditative and beautiful pictures of what goes on in water, both in oil and different graphic techniques.
- I have always been a sucker for the decorative element in painting. When the impressionists started to turn their eyes towards the Asian forms of expression the decorative element entered the western way of painting. It came to be a big influence mainly amongst the impressionists, but also within the Art Nouveau, Jugend and all of those movements

In his own pace
Artist: Ulf Lundkvist
Most people associates Ulf Lundkvist with Assar, his most famous cartoon figure, but the number of cartoon figures that has passed between his finger are innumerable.
The art of Ulf Lundkvist is admittedly related to his cartoons, but when the balloon is gone a very different side of his creativity is made visible. A more meditative vein is exposed, often a calm consideration of something plain and common that suddenly is given a magic shimmer.
